Recently, the kickoff meeting for Zhongli Group’s “Intellectual Property and Standards Integration Project in the Advanced Dielectric Materials Cable Sector,” along with the unveiling ceremony of its Collaborative Innovation Center, was solemnly held at the company’s headquarters in Changshu. Attending the event were officials from the Suzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Suzhou Intellectual Property Bureau) and the Changshu Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Changshu Intellectual Property Bureau), as well as experts from Suzhou Weishibo Intellectual Property Service Co., Ltd., representatives from Zhongli Group, Talesun Solar, Zhonglian Photoelectric, and Changshu Stargazer.

At the kickoff meeting, Mr. Chen Xinxiang, Deputy General Manager of Zhongli Group, delivered a welcome address, expressing his heartfelt gratitude for the care and guidance of leaders at all levels and for the strong support of the expert team. He then provided a comprehensive overview of the intellectual property–standard integration project in the advanced dielectric materials cable sector, offering a thorough analysis of the project’s overall plan, objectives, and strategic value, and highlighting its critical importance to the Group’s technological R&D, industrial deployment, and competitive positioning. Following this, Ms. Qian Wenjie, Senior Partner at Suzhou Weishibo Intellectual Property Service Co., Ltd., presented the project’s implementation roadmap, clearly defining task assignments, delineating responsibilities, and identifying key milestones at each stage, thereby providing a clear and structured guide for the project’s standardized execution.
In the presence of distinguished guests, Mr. Xing Fengfeng, Director of the Industrial Promotion Division of the Suzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Suzhou Intellectual Property Bureau), and Mr. Chen Xinxiang, Deputy General Manager of Zhongli Group, jointly unveiled the “Collaborative Innovation Center for Intellectual Property and Standards in the Advanced Dielectric Materials Cable Sector.”

Ms. Zhang Aiqi, Deputy Director of the Changshu Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Changshu Municipal Intellectual Property Bureau), highly commended Zhongli Group’s pioneering efforts and outlined two key expectations: first, to ensure effective implementation and generate replicable best practices, thereby establishing a “Changshu model” for integrating intellectual property with standards; second, to remain firmly rooted in the local context, drive regional development, and leverage the leading enterprise’s spillover effects. Director Xing Fengfeng noted that advanced dielectric materials are a critical cornerstone of high-end equipment manufacturing and a priority industrial focus for Suzhou. He emphasized that Zhongli Group should not only deliver the project to the highest quality standards but also seize this opportunity to develop a replicable, scalable “Zhongli Model” of IP–standard integration, setting a benchmark for the city’s—and indeed the province’s—manufacturing sector. He urged Zhongli Group to establish robust long-term mechanisms, deeply embed IP–standard integration throughout the entire R&D process, concentrate on creating high‑value outcomes, and deliver a powerful “one-two punch” of patents and standards, thus achieving a strategic shift from “quantity growth” to “quality enhancement.”

Going forward, Zhongli Group will leverage the Collaborative Innovation Center as a platform to steadily advance patent portfolio development, standards formulation, and technology transfer, ensuring the high‑quality implementation of its projects. By fostering deep integration between intellectual property and standards, the Group will drive innovative, high‑quality growth.
