Recently, Suzhou Talesun Solar Technology Co., Ltd. (“Talesun”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhongli Group, and Jiangsu Siyang Economic Development Zone Management Committee signed the "Investment Framework Agreement" to build 5GW photovoltaic cells + 5GW photovoltaic modules. On the basis of the project, taking advantage of the good conditions of the original 80,000 square meters factory building, office and dormitory buildings in Siyang Development Zone, the official commencement ceremony of the project was carried out. Chen Bohan, Vice President of Zhongli Group, Dong Shuguang, President of Talesun, Wang Guowen, President of Suqian District Production Base, and leaders of Siyang County Government and Development Zone Management Committee attended the ceremony.
Chen Bohan said that Suqian has a superior geographical location and a complete development carrier. With the continuous accumulation of supply chain advantages, it has formed a distinct industrial development pattern and a high-quality modern industrial system, providing photovoltaic manufacturing. The industry has a vast space. The settlement of Talesun's 5GW cell +5GW module project is not only in line with the strategic plan of Zhongli Group, but also conducive to the company's expansion of production base scale, improvement of company profitability and industry influence. At the same time, it also hopes to promote the agglomeration and upgrading of the photovoltaic industry and become a new driving force for the development and growth of the new energy industry.
The investment and construction of the Siyang project of Zhongli Group will accelerate the adjustment and upgrading of the industrial structure of Siyang Economic Development Zone and further promote the positive development of the photovoltaic industry.
All the projects adopt advanced automatic intelligent manufacturing (210 large-size and high-efficiency batteries and components) process technology, and focus on the introduction of technical personnel to ensure the steady progress of the project. It is expected to be completed and put into production in July.
