An Innovation Consortium is led by an enterprise, jointly formed by upstream and downstream industrial chain partners, renowned universities, research institutes, technology service institutions and financial institutions.
It signs a joint charter and establishes a well-positioned, complementary and clearly defined working mechanism.
It is equipped with essential elements for collaborative innovation, including high-level talent teams, innovation platforms, postdoctoral workstations and industrial fund support.
The Consortium focuses on overcoming shortcomings in core key technologies, developing a batch of distinctive end products, and seizing commanding heights in future technological and industrial development.
This Innovation Consortium is initiated and led by Jiangsu Zhongli Group Co., Ltd., jointly with Nanjing Tech University and Changshu Research Institute of Dalian University of Technology, together with 10 member units including industrial chain enterprises and technology service institutions.
Focusing on key common areas in the special cable material industry chain that require collaborative breakthroughs, it targets performance upgrades such as high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance to meet application demands in high-end fields including new energy and rail transit.
Through rationally arranged research projects and collaborative tackling of key technologies, the Consortium will strongly promote technological innovation and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, providing solid scientific and technological support for the city’s high-quality economic development.
