Since 2015, Tenghui Power has launched the “Smart PV + Technology Agriculture”, “Poverty Village PV Farm” and “Family Photovoltaic Farm” three generations of photovoltaic agriculture, becoming the only “photovoltaic + agriculture + employment” method in the country to help build a file. The project of poverty-stricken villages has achieved 25 years of stable income and poverty alleviation.

The first generation of "smart photovoltaic + technology agriculture" innovation projects, mainly based on ground-based photovoltaic power plants, photovoltaic and agricultural deep integration, to achieve photovoltaic agricultural mechanization. In the past three years, 370MW agricultural photovoltaic demonstration bases have been built in Qinghai, Ningxia, Shandong, Jiangsu and other places, achieving an average agricultural income of more than 4,000 yuan per mu. Each year, it can increase the characteristic agricultural income of photovoltaic farms by more than 50 million yuan.

The second generation of "poor village photovoltaic farms" is based on the first generation, with villages as units, building photovoltaic farms with an installed capacity of no more than 500 KW, building photovoltaic panels to generate electricity, planting various crops below, and absorbing local labor employment. The third generation of “family photovoltaic farms” helped the poor to the households, and used the farmer’s home garden to build a mini-type photovoltaic farm. At present, in Shandong, Shaanxi, Hebei, Shanxi and other regions, “home photovoltaic farms” have been installed for 12,000 poor families, and it is planned to build “home photovoltaic farms” for 200,000 poor families across the country within three years.

Zhongli Group attaches great importance to the quality of village-level photovoltaic poverty alleviation projects and reasonable project cost. Wang Baixing, secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board of directors, stressed that the quality of photovoltaic poverty alleviation projects must be ensured first, and the principle of small profits but quick turnover must be adhered to in order to obtain social recognition. “To do poverty alleviation projects, we must not have the idea of helping the poor. To make poverty alleviation projects with high quality and maximum benefits, it is our success to make social recognition.” To this end, when the first batch of projects was launched, The company will openly invite bids in the country, and take the initiative to let the poor counties indicate in the tender that the EPC total construction price does not exceed 7 yuan per watt, otherwise it is a waste standard.

At the same time, the company initiated and established the PV Poverty Alleviation Fund on the premise that the policy allowed and required policy banks to support the poverty alleviation project loans, providing 20% of the capital for the particularly difficult poverty-stricken counties. The property rights of poverty alleviation projects are owned by the collectively owned villages. The total income of photovoltaic power generation is uniformly arranged by the County Poverty Alleviation Office for the poverty alleviation of poor households. This model has been affirmed by the National Energy Administration and has been identified as a replicable promotion model by the State Council Office for Poverty Alleviation.

In 2017, Zhongli Group has built “poor village photovoltaic farms” for 43 poverty-stricken counties across the country, helping more than 440,000 people out of poverty. The achievement of achievements is inseparable from the innovative technology of agricultural photovoltaics.
